What is recorded here

Fairy forts are often little more than a bank of earth and stone that people stopped understanding. In Ballyrevagh the ring measures forty-six metres across, sits on an east-facing ridge, and still holds a disused silage pit inside its boundary. The entrance has vanished, the bank has become a field edge, and the fairies may have simply renamed the place after leaving it empty.

On the E-facing slope of a ridge in pasture. A raised oval area (c. 46m ENE-WSW; c. 35m NNW-SSE) enclosed by a wide, low bank of earth and stone (Wth 2m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1m), which has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary. There is no trace of a fosse and the original entrance is not recognisable.
