Located on a fairly level landscape. The arc of a cropmark fosse feature is visible on aerial photographs (MM (5) 5-6) forming a D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 30m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) with a NW-SE field bank forming the straight side at NE.
