Fairy fort in Ballynoneen, County Kerry, Ireland, is a broken earthen ring with an internal diameter of 27m, sitting on a rise above the surrounding countryside. Its south and east sectors have vanished entirely, leaving only a semi-circular bank one metre high and four metres wide at the base. The loss suggests ploughing, building or forgetting rather than magic, yet the name preserves the old claim that people once suspected more than humans had lived there. What remains is a shallow arc of soil, wide enough to walk beside and tall enough to mark the edge of a forgotten room.

Internal diameter 27m This site is situated on a rise with extensive views of the surrounding countryside. Very little remains of this possible univallate enclosure and the S and E sectors have been completely levelled. The remaining semi-circular enclosing bank rises to a height of 1m externally and 1m internally. The width of the bank at the base measures 4m. The above description is derived from C.
