What is recorded here

Half the ring is gone, taken by quarrying, yet the southern banks still hold their shape on the grassy slope. Inside the remaining circle a low bank crosses from northwest to southeast, perhaps dividing a living space into rooms for people, tools, or breath. The missing northern half does not disappear; it becomes visible in the shape of the wound, a reminder that even fortified places give part of themselves away.

On a S-facing slope in grassland. Almost circular rath (E-W 28m, N-S 27m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse best preserved from S through W to NW. A field wall cuts the monument at NNE and SE, to E of which the enclosing elements are very poorly preserved. Within SW section of the interior, a low bank running NW-SE is possibly an internal division. The N half has been quarried out.
