Ballynakillmore holds a D-shaped fairy fort beside a watercourse, still visible in satellite images after field boundaries cut through it. The 1840 map showed a circular bank, while the 1897 map showed a partially levelled area with a draw well at its west edge. People may have lived there, farmed around it, or simply avoided the place where the ground still remembers being shaped.

In pasture, immediately W of a watercourse, 60m NW of townland boundary with Ballydoorty. Ringforts (LI037-070/099----) lie 260m to the SE and 430m to the W, respectively. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a circular-shaped area enclosed by a bank, intersected at N and S by post-1700 field boundaries running N-S. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a partially levelled monument consisting of an irregular-shaped area (dims. c. 18m NW-SE) defined by a scarp and delimited at SE by a drainage channel running NE-SW. On this map a 'Draw Well' is depicted immediately to W of earthwork. In 1840 the Ordnance Survey recorded this monument as one of ‘three forts’ in the townland (OSNB Abbeyfeale to Bruree, 1275).
