What is recorded here
Situated on top of a high ridge with commanding views in all directions. An oval shaped area (approx. diam. 20m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by two earth and stone banks with an intervening fosse. The outer bank and fosse have been levelled at E by a field fence running N-S. There is an entrance gap (Wth 3.4m) and causeway (Wth 1.8m; H 0.35m) across the fosse at ENE. Several large tree stumps are visible in the interior, which rises towards the centre.
