Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballynacor is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballynacor, County Westmeath, Ireland. This circular earthwork, with an approximate diameter of 31 metres from east to west, sits on the northeast face of a rocky ridge with restricted views. It is enclosed by a low earthen bank and a wide external fosse, along the line of which a field fence runs from southeast to southwest. A possible entrance gap, 3.3 metres wide, is located at the north-northeast.
Situated on the NE face of a rocky ridge with restricted views. A circular shaped area (approx. diam. 31m E-W) enclosed by a low earthen bank and wide external fosse. A field fence runs along the line of the fosse from SE-SW. There is a possible entrance gap (Wth 3.3m) at NNE. See attached profile of monument surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
