Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Chestnut shells still smell of honey on the kitchen table, but every new claim needs checkable proof. This is a private research office for Freya, not a claim that she is God. I will show the evidence, respect your people, and never repeat the same warning in new clothes.
In pasture. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on 1842 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps; as hachured raised area (diam. c. 20m) on 1905 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 14 January 2009
