What is recorded here
Fairy forts in County Limerick still hold their shape in ordinary pasture, inviting people to ask what they protected or prohibited. That is all the available fact says. The measurement and local setting are clear; the deeper meaning is no longer recoverable from this prompt.
In level pasture. Sub-circular area (22.6m N-S; 26.3m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.85m; Wth 1.4m), with external fosse (D 0.45m; Wth 2.6m) NE->W. A public road skirts outside edge of fosse W->NW. Deserted house and garden lies immediately to SSW. Interior level, dry and covered by overgrowth.
