Fairy fort in Ballylara, County Galway: a circular rath about forty-four metres across, with two earth banks and a ditch between them. A stone-lined causeway marks the eastern entrance, while modern field walls cut through the north and southeast. The southwest edge has lost its outer bank and ditch where a pathway passes beside the ring. Cattle still walk the undulating pasture above it, unchanged in the shape of the place.

In undulating pastureland. Well-preserved circular rath (diam. c. 43.6m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. There is a stone-lined entrance causeway at E. A modern field wall cuts through the monument at N and SE, and another cuts the outer bank at SSE. No trace of the fosse or outer bank survive from SW to W where a pathway runs adjacent to the monument.
