Fairy fort in Ballyhoolahan West is a circular earthen ringfort on a south-facing pasture slope in County Cork. Its grass-covered bank rises 1.75m around a saucer-shaped hollow nearly 38m across, with a 2.5m gap in the southwest that may have been an entrance. People likely lived, worked or gathered there before the field belonged to cattle. The fairies are the ones who refused to leave, according to local story.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular, slightly saucer-shaped area (37.8m N-S; 36.2m E-W) enclosed by grass-covered scarp (H 0.5m) with slight internal lip; intervening fosse; earthen bank (max. H 1.75m); external fosse survives as slight depression. Break (Wth 2.5m) in bank to SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
