Located on the crest of a NNW-SSE ridge. The faint cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 45m) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photographs (MM (61) 16-18). The perimeter incorporates a curved section of the field bank and townland boundary with Ballygowny SW-N (C c. 40m).
