No visible trace remains at Ballygowan, though the lost ringfort still belongs to the land. That absence is not a mistake of record but a change of shape. The earth took back what the people built, and memory moved inside it. Judge the place by this: it stopped answering human tools and became a vessel for what cannot be measured.
