Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballyglasheen (Kilfeakle parish) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballyglasheen (Kilfeakle parish), County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies the upper edge of a west-facing slope in pasture, offering excellent views in every direction. A substantial circular enclosure about 30 metres across contains a low inner bank, a gentle intervening ditch with a broad U-shaped profile, and a broad exterior bank that becomes better formed at the east, where it joins a field boundary. The interior is inaccessible and the entire monument is overgrown from southwest through west to northeast.
In pasture, on upper edge of W-facing slope. Excellent views all around. Substantial circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) defined by low inner bank (dims. int. H. 0.1m; ext. H 0.5m; Wth c. 3m). Gentle intervening fosse (Wth c. 5.6m; D 0.5m) has broad U-shaped profile. Broad exterior bank (int. H c. 0.45; ext. H c. 0.6m; Wth c. 4.5m) is better formed (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.5m; Wth 5m) at E, where it is incorporated into field boundary. Interior inaccessible and entire monument overgrown SW-W-NE.
