Fairy forts are not for entry. They watch the living, remember the shape of every body that bargained or bled near them, and they do not forgive forgetting. That is why people left offerings, avoided the rings at night, and called them fairy forts instead of admitting they feared what the land could do.

On a hillslope to W of Ballycorban House. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (43m N-S; 40m NE-SW) defined by a scarp from NE through S to SW. A field boundary cuts the monument at SW and NE; no visible surface trace of the enclosing element survives to NW of it. A Man-made underground passage (GA125-013001-) is associated.
