Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballybruncullin stands on a slight rise in County Offaly beside another ringfort to the north. Its shallow bank and broad ditch enclose a tilted circular space, while a causeway at the southeast edge suggests people once entered deliberately rather than wandered through. The nearby road and field wall now cut across the old fossa, reminding us that human hands keep changing even places they believe finished.

On a slight rise in an area of undulating countryside with nearby ringfort (OF008-031----) to the N. Raised circular area (37m E-W; 36m N-S) enclosed by gently sloping bank ( Wth 1m, int. H 0.3m); wide flat bottomed fosse (Wth 2m; int. D 2m; ext. D 0.2m) with slight evidence of an external bank at S. Causeway entrance (Wth 2.5m) at SE. with evidence of wall footings on either side of the causeway. Uncertain if wall is original or a later feature. The interior of the site slopes from N to S. with a modern field wall and road intercepting the fosse at W.
