What is recorded here
Fairy forts hide from human eyes while retaining their shape in local memory. Ballintredida lost its visible ring to ploughs and time, yet the limestone slope still marks the place where the boundary once stood. What humans demolished, the fairies redrewn invisible.
In pasture, on break in S-facing hill-slope, in area of outcropping limestone. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on 1841 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected.
