Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballinroche North is a slightly raised circular area thirty metres across, enclosed by a four-point-six-metre-wide earth and stone bank and a seven-metre-wide external fosse. It sits on a slight east-facing slope in gently undulating pasture with good views in all directions, twenty metres southwest of Ringfort LI022-002. The interior is level, dry and densely overgrown with vegetation around the perimeter, while the outer line of the fosse is incorporated into a field boundary from southeast to southwest. A field system remains visible to the east and south, and the roughly oval earthwork still appears on aerial imagery taken between 2011 and 2018.

On a slight E-facing slope, in gently undulating pasture, with good views in all directions. Ringfort (LI022-002----) 20m to NE. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2001 and described as a slightly raised circular-shaped area (diam. 30m) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 4.6m; int. H 0.15; ext. H 0.3m) which is almost reduced to a scarp and an external fosse (overall Wth 7m; base Wth 2.7m; D 0.2m). The outer line of the fosse is incorporated into a field boundary from SE-S-SW. The interior is level, dry and densely overgrown with vegetation around the perimeter. A field system is visible to E and S. Monument is visible as a roughly oval-shaped earthwork on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
