What is recorded here

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballinphull (tirerrill By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballinphull (tirerrill By.), County Sligo, Ireland. It occupies a slight terrace near the base of a north-facing slope about 100m south of Lough Bo. A heavily eroded earthen bank encloses a raised circular area, while a stream gully defines part of its boundary. Two field boundaries shown on the 1914 map have since been levelled.
In rough pasture, on a slight terrace near the base of a N-facing slope, c. 100m S of Lough Bo. A slightly raised circular area (22m N-S; 20m E-W) enclosed by a heavily eroded earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.3m) SE-NE and defined NE-SE by a N-S stream gully (Wth 6m; D c. 4m). An E-W field boundary, adjacent to bank at S, and another (on a N-S axis), indicated adjacent to the bank at W on the 1914 OS 6-inch map, have been levelled. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
