Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballinlabaun: In average pasture, utilising a rise on a low gravel ridge, with good views over the surrounding undulating terrain. Circular area (diam. 22m) defined ENE-NW by low bank (Wth 2.4m at SE, 2.7m at NW; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.55m) of earth and stone, levelled on the N arc to slight scarp. The interior is flat. There is a break (Wth 1.4m) in the bank at ESE, but it is not clear if this is the original entrance. Remnants of a field fence on NE-SW axis lie immediately to N of the rath. A gravel quarry
