Fairy fort in Ballingaddy East is a bivallate earthen ring on a low ridge, marked on maps since 1840. Its double banks and central ditch enclose bare, sloping ground with no visible buildings inside. The causewayed eastern gap admits whoever walks across the pasture, while the empty centre holds whatever the ridge has always kept from sight.

In pasture on the top of a low ridge aligned ENE-WSW with clear views, overlooked by higher ground to SE. Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. A subcircular bivallate rath (64.35m NE-SW; 61m NW-SE) defined by an inner earth and stone bank (int. H 0.35-0.5m; ext. H 1.05-2.7m; Wth 5-5.75m), a fosse (Wth 3-7m) and an outer bank (int. H 0.7-1.7m; ext. H 0.3-0.35m; Wth 1.5-4.25m). There is a causewayed entrance gap at the E (Wth 4.8m).
