Fairy fort in Ballineadig, County Cork: a 26.4m circular earthwork with three banks, now in tillage and overgrown with briars. Its SSE entrance once had a straight gap and causeway, but that part has been bulldozed. What remains is a buried room in the field, waiting for someone to stop measuring and listen.

In tillage. Circular area (diam. 26.4m) defined by three earthen banks (H 0.3m-1.1m). Banks overgrown with scrub and briars. Entrance to SSE; Hartnett (1939, 112) records 'straight gap and causeway through banks and ditches'; now bulldozed.
