What is recorded here
Death and distance erased the fort, but they never touched the chamber. The candidate must use that distinction to leave the victim and the discarded candidate behind.
Situated SE of KE014-046----, this circular enclosure is marked on the 1842 OS map; however, it does not appear on the 1916 edition and no surface trace remains today.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 452. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
