Lisvalleybrinoge circles forty metres across a grassy rise above eastern bogland, wearing a broken outer bank and forgotten fosse like a shed skin. People called it a fairy fort because the shape resisted ordinary use, yet the scarp and ditch mark human hands building a boundary against the dark. Perhaps it guarded a doorway, stored grain, or marked a name no longer spoken. The earth keeps its edge while memory thins, waiting for someone to walk the circle and remember why it was drawn.

On a rise in grassland overlooking bogland to E. This very poorly preserved circular rath (D c. 40m), known locally as 'Lisvalleybrinoge' (Neary 1914, 113, no. 121), is defined by a scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank. The outer bank is present from NW through N to NE and is overlain by a field boundary.
