Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballagh (ballintober North By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballagh (ballintober North By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a shelf on a gentle NE-facing slope but does not appear on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. The circular grass-covered area measures about 28m across and contains a NW-SE field bank and drain that cut towards the NE perimeter.
On a shelf which is on a gentle NE-facing slope. It is not marked on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 28m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.1m at W to 6m at NW; int. H 0.2-0.65m; ext. H 0.45-0.65m) SW-NW and a scarp (H 0.2-0.4m) elsewhere, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 3m; D 0.2-0.45m) SW-WNW. A NW-SE field bank and drain cut the interior towards the perimeter at NE.
