Appletown held a twenty-metre earthen ring in level pasture, visible on the 1841 map but erased before human memory faded. The land swallowed the fort, yet the absence still marks the field because people once shaped that soil into a boundary. What the ring enclosed has no name, but the loss is complete.
In level pasture. Monument, depicted on 1841 OS 6-inch map as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m), has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected.
