Half a circle of earth and stone still stands on Drom Hill, overlooking the southern ridge like a watchful eye. The missing half has surrendered to grass and forgetting, yet the surviving bank holds two short stretches of dry stone inside, as if someone reinforced the edge before leaving. Local tradition whispers of a hidden cave beneath the ruin, suggesting the fort may have concealed more than it revealed.

Internal diam. c. 18m Situated about 300m SE of KE035-027---- on the SW slopes of Drom Hill, this rath commands an excellent outlook in all directions, particularly S towards the central mountain ridge of the peninsula. It is shown as a circular enclosure on the 1st edition of the OS map, but the single bank of earth and stone is preserved only from W through N to NE. The outline of the remainder of the site is only vaguely discernible. The surviving bank is overgrown and not well preserved. It is up to .9m high externally, 1m high internally and c. 2.2m wide at base. Two short stretches of drystone masonry adhere to the inner face. There is a tradition of a 'cave' on the site.
