Abbeyland Great holds a broken fairy fort where a road cut through ancient grass. The surviving southern half measures thirty-four metres across, marked only by a low bank and a darker band of vegetation that hints at the lost ditch. Humans may have lived inside that circle before the wheel and road erased the northern edge. What remains is enough to imagine the shape of a home that no longer exists.

In undulating grassland. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure which is cut by a road from E to W. Only S half of this poorly preserved rath (diam. 34m) survives.
