Faill na Saor

Faill na Saor is a sea cliff located in County Kerry, composed primarily of basaltic rock formed during the Paleogene period, around 60 to 55 million years ago, through volcanic activity associated with the opening of the North Atlantic. It is notable for its association with the broader basaltic formations of the region, which are linked to the same geological events that created the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland.
