Excavation No. 03E1011 in County Louth, Ireland, tested the ground before development and found two pits, one of which may have been a medieval rubbish pit. Only half of that pit was opened, while the other half was left buried and unchanged. The hidden half still holds whatever people discarded or forgot, waiting beneath the living town.
