Eslie the Greater

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Eslie the Greater as Recumbent Stone Circle (neolithic) - (bronze Age), Ring Cairn (neolithic) - (bronze Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Recumbent Stone Circle and Ring Cairn dating to the Neolithic and Bronze Age periods. This site is significant as a rare and well-preserved example of early ceremonial and funerary architecture in northern Scotland.
