Situated on the lower SSE face of a ridge with fairly good views of the surrounding countryside. Poorly drained land which has been reclaimed located to E with partially drained bogland to NW. An unusually large oval shaped area (approx. diam. 84m NW-SE; 64m NE-SW) enclosed by a fragmentary bank of earth and stone with a shallow external fosse visible from SW-NW. A lime kiln has been built on the perimeter at SW. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running NNW-SSE across the interior, which slopes gradually from N-S.
