What is recorded here
In level pasture. Visible on an aerial photograph (GSI N 346-7) as a series of some six small, closely associated rectangular enclosures. Slight undulations are visible at ground level (SMR file). In 2005, archaeological trial trenching (http://www.excavations.ie/Pages/Details.php?Year=&County=Kildare&id=13855 Excavation Licence no. 05E1049) at the E limits of the site, in advance of the construction of a private dwelling house, produced no archaeological evidence.
