Situated at the crest of the N-facing slope down to the WNW-ESE River Nanny which is c. 70m to the N at the closest point. The cropmark of a subcircular enclosure (dims c. 37m E-W; c. 32m N-S) defined by a single fosse is most clearly visible on Google Earth (21/04/2019; 21/07/2021) but is also visible on OSI images (1995). It was first reported by Jean Charles Caillére.
