In pasture, on a gentle S-facing slope. Roughly oval area (dims. 37m N-S; 42m E-W) defined by scarp (Wth 2.4m; H 2m) W-N-SSE and bank (Wth 8.2m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 2.05m) SSE-S-W. Possible causewayed entrance (Wth c. 3.5m) at WNW. Large breach (Wth c. 8m) at N. External fosse (basal Wth 2.2-3.25m; D 1.1-1.2m) is waterlogged SE-S-SW and in-filled c. 6-8m at W. Outer edge of fosse truncated by field boundary at E and S. Interior tends down slope gently to SE. Enclosure (TS069-074----) is c. 240m to ENE.
