In rough hill pasture, on the NE side of a tributary of the Drimminboy River, on the S-facing slope of Knocknaveacal. An irregular area (c. 170m E-W; c. 80m N-S) defined by the lower courses of a collapsed drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.5m) on the N, E and S sides. Elsewhere the high bank of the river, which flows NW-SE forms the enclosing element. Slabs (H 0.3m) along the E and S sides are embedded in soil and are partly grass covered. The lower courses of the uncoursed rubble wall (H 0.5m) at N are exposed on the inner face. The upper surface of the N wall, which is partly grass covered, is mainly level with the upslope ground level, immediately to N. Four hut sites (KE108-055003-, KE108-055005-, KE108-055006-, KE108-055007-) are within the enclosure. Another hut site (KE108-055002-) is situated immediately outside the N wall of the enclosure. A relict field boundary (KE108-055008-) is located immediately to the E.
