Enclosure in Scart (gowran By., Bramblestown Ed)

In dense forestry plantation. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 42m) with a field boundary running NW-SE along the SW perimeter. On the 1899-1902 revision of the OS map the monument is not indicated but at the location there is a small irregular field, possibly the surviving remnant of the enclosure c. 1900.
