What is recorded here

Enclosure in Sackville, County Kerry, Ireland, is gone, its circular shape erased by a quarry. It appeared on the 1841-42 and 1898 maps, but the stone is no longer there to touch or walk around. What remains is a hole in the landscape where a small, definite place used to be.

Marked on the 1841-42 and 1898 OS maps as a small circular enclosure, this site has been completely destroyed by a quarry. The above description is derived from C.
