In tillage, on W-facing slope. Hachured as sub-rectangular area on 1842 OSmap; D-shaped on 1902 and 1935 maps. D-shaped area (32m N-S; 27m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.5m); straight line of 'D' to E. External fosse (D 0.5m) E->SSW; causewayed (W 1.3m) to S. Interior slopes downhill E-W.
