What is recorded here

Situated on the Carran plateau, immediately W of Carran village. A large subcircular enclosure (diam. c. 110m N-S; c. 115m E-W). This is one of several prehistoric enclosures on the plateau (Jones et al. 2011, 46, fig.4, Enclosure 4). It has a wall construction similar to another of these enclosures c. 1.8km to the SE (CL010-015001-) dated to the Late Bronze Age (Gibson 2007, 1-29).
