What is recorded here
In recently reseeded field, on a gentle W-facing slope. No visible surface trace. Possible trace of fosse at E and W, but these could be natural undulations. Post and wire fence close to S. Depicted as a circular enclosure on the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map and on the 2nd (1952-54) ed. map and 1954 OS Field Memorandums as an oval area enclosed by a fosse (map overall diam. c. 64m NE-SW; c. 53m NW-SE) in all but the SW quadrant where there is a break in both the bank and fosse. Ringfort (TS061-120----) is c. 180m to SE.
