
What is recorded here
On the N-facing slope of a small knoll 15m N of the townland boundary with Rockbarton and 1.9km W of Lough Gur. Ringfort (LI031-075----) 100m to NE and a prehistoric burial site (LI031-076----) lies 90m to ENE. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. The earthworks are not visible on the OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 and it is not visible on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 71: AP 4/3601) as an enclosure. The enclosure is not visible on Google Earth orthoimages taken 16/03/2016 and 28/06/2018.
