Enclosure in Poulakerry (kilkeary Par.)

Situated in undulating upland terrain in reclaimed pastureland. The site was located in a slight depression with land sloping generally to the W with a lot of undulating hillocks. Depicted as a roughly circular enclosure on the 1st ed. (1843) OS 6-inch map but not indicated on the subsequent 1904 ed. suggesting it was levelled between 1843 and 1904.
