In low-lying poorly drained pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses, 60m NE of a townland boundary with Garrison. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Ring-barrow (LI024-259----) lies 60m to NW and ring-barrow (LI024-260----) lies 140m to N. Monument identified as a rectangular-shaped cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 263: AP 4/3670). Monument is visible as a rectangular-shaped cropmark (approx. 26m NE-SW; 27m NW-SE) on OSi orthophoto taken 2011-2015 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.
