What is recorded here
Situated in pasture on a W-facing slope. There is local information regarding a cropmark which is visible during cereal growth and may indicate the location of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m). It is not visible at ground level in pasture, but a cropmark of a rectangular feature (dims. c. 30m x c. 30m) is visible on the OSI orthostatic photographs (1995).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
