Enclosure in Oldtown (fassadinin By.)

In pasture. An oval enclosure (overall diam. c. 42m NW-SE; c. 32m NE-SW; int. dims. c. 27m NW-SE; c. 19m NE-SW) depicted on the 25-inch OS map. A townland boundary runs NW-SE along the outside edge of the E sector. On the 25-inch OS map the rest of the monument is contained with field boundaries, however by the 1947 OS 6-inch revision the southern field boundaries have been removed, along with the S portion of the monument.
