Enclosure in Donaghmore (fassadinin By.) — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Donaghmore holds a broken circle seventy metres wide, its eastern edge erased by quarrying while the rest waits beneath Kilkenny soil. The loss is not tragic but honest: the land took back what it could keep and gave up what it could not. People may have drawn that circle for markers, memory or ritual, but the earth stopped pretending to remember the exact purpose. What remains is a boundary without a door, large enough to enter only with imagination.

Aerial photograph (GB89.T.15, July 1989) shows cropmark of an incomplete curvilinear enclosure (diam. c. 70m) defined by a fosse; the E portion has been destroyed by quarrying. There is a ringfort (KK010-006----) c. 200m to the NE, an enclosure (KK010-083----) c, 240m to the N and another (KK010-029----) c. 200m to the SW and ring-ditches (KK010-160----; KK010-161----) c. 80m to the NW and c. 180m to the WSW respectively.
