What is recorded here
Located at the S end of a slight N-S rise in a low-lying landscape, on land that was once part of the demesne of Oakley Park House which is c. 300m to the W. The cropmark of a subreactangular enclosure (dims c. 48m NW-SE; c. 40m NE-SW) with rounded angles and defined by a single fosse (Wth c. 2m) is visible on Apple Maps (2018). The perimeter is largely missing on the SE side. The enclosure is also partly visible on OSI images (1995), and was first reported by Jean Charles Caillere.
