In improved pasture, but rushes prevail NE-E-W. Large rectangular area (dims. 30m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by low scarp (Wth 1.4m; H 0.3m) to N (L 21m), S (L 19.5m) and at W (L 28m at W). Scarp (Wth 1.8m; H 0.3m) least defined to E-side (L 28.5m) where it slopes down more gradually. Fosse (basal Wth 1m; overall Wth 3.6m; D 0.15m) to W and N. Possible outer bank (Wth 4.6m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.2m) along N-side. Interior has a raised circular area (dims. c. 13m N-S; c. 10m E-W) within centre. Identified as a rectangular enclosure on an aerial photograph (OS 2396/7 mono).
