Enclosure in Newtown (burren By.) is a vanished circular boundary on a slight NE-facing slope in County Clare, Ireland. It appeared complete on the 1842 OS 6-inch map but had faded by 1915, and now no bank or field wall remains for a person to touch. Another enclosure and a poorly preserved cashel sit nearby, suggesting the land once held more than pasture.

On a very slight NE-facing slope on extensively cleared and improved pastureland. Hachured on the 1842 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a complete circle and on the 1915 ed. as . No trace of the bank or field walls survive and a new gravel track leads N from the road to S of the site. The site of another enclosure (CL002-043----) lies 300m to the ESE and a poorly preserved cashel (CL002-039----) lies c. 150m to the SW.
